Ansgar Baums

Ansgar Baums is a seasoned expert in geopolitical risk, technology policy, and government relations. As co-founder and partner of Geotech Advisory LLC, he consults corporations on managing geopolitical uncertainty. Ansgar’s extensive career includes roles as Head of the Global Strategy Program at HP, Head of Government Relations for Europe/Middle East/Africa, and positions at SAP AG and Zoom Video Communications. He is also a non-resident fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute and a former Helmut Schmidt Fellow of the German Marshall Fund. Ansgar holds a master’s degree in international strategy and economics from the University of St. Andrews and a diploma in political science from Free University Berlin.
