SAN FRANCISCO | July 10th, 2025 – We are excited to welcome Misha Edel as a Partner in our Deep Tech and Infrastructure Investment Banking group. He will leverage his client experiences, past deal activities, and sector insights to focus on infrastructure-related frontier tech, including data center technologies, smart building systems, and edge computing platforms. Misha has over two decades of experience in M&A, value creation, and technology-enabled transformation.
Based in the San Francisco area, Misha will lead coverage efforts on companies within the Deep Tech and Infrastructure sectors. He will collaborate closely with Managing Partner Vitaly Golomb and members of our frontier technology-focused Investment Banking team. His appointment not only deepens the expertise of our current team but also expands our reach into critical areas of physical infrastructure transformation, where there remain significant opportunities for ongoing transaction activity across M&A and capital markets. His addition further strengthens our frontier technology franchise and reinforces our commitment to building a leading advisory platform across high-growth sectors.
Misha joins us after serving as a Managing Director at KPMG, where he built and led a proprietary M&A and operational diligence platform utilized in over 200 client transactions. Throughout his career, he has advised on hundreds of transactions across various sectors and helped scale numerous early-stage companies at the intersection of software, analytics, and emerging technologies. He has played a key role in supporting venture-backed startups through critical growth phases, including companies like Ekso Bionics, which pioneered wearable exoskeletons. Before joining KPMG, he held senior roles at AlixPartners and other leading consulting firms, advising private equity sponsors and corporates on acquisitions, carve-outs, and enterprise transformation. Misha earned his degree from UC Berkeley and remains actively involved in Berkeley’s startup ecosystem through the UC Berkeley Entrepreneur Center.
